 What is the course composition?

 This will be 5 days course which includes:-

 

Day 1

•             Health and Safety; facts and figures, to prevent accidents.

•             Health and Safety and Legal System in the UK; Occupational Health and Safety Act 1974 (HASWA), Occupational Health and Safety Management 1999, and the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

•             Health and Safety and Manager; types of work, job list, manager role, leadership styles, and the consequences of failing to manage health and safety.

 Day 2

 •             Application to Height Regulations 2005; types of scaffolding, hazard testing, working at very high altitudes, scaffolding inspections, security provision (stairs, harnesses, fall bindings).

•             RIDDOR; reporting injuries and types of injuries.

•             Construction (Design and Management) Regulations of 2015; changes to key regulations, construction phase plan and information for project owners.

•             Protective Service Regulations 1992; hazardous substances, risk reduction, eye and skin protection.

•             Provision of First Aid; first aid equipment, first aid personnel and HSE recommendations.

 Day 3

 •             Various rules; COSHH Rules; Noise in the Labor Laws, the Manual of Hands-Hands Management 1992, and the Vibration Regulation in the Labor Laws of 2005.

•             Sanitation and environmental management; Environmental Protection Act of 1990 and dealing with construction waste.

•             Asbestos; Asbestos-related diseases.

•             Risk assessment and risk management; quality / measurement, risk assessment, and control measures.

 Day 4

 •             Various rules; Provision and use of Reg Equipment Equipment. 1998, and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regs. 1998.

•             Occupational health; drugs and alcohol at work and mental health awareness.

•             Construction hazards; electricity in the workplace, underground and surface services, mining, enclosures and fire protection measures.

 Day 5

 Assessment: You are evaluated for your involvement in all your training and performance in the four main course subjects. These four tests include:

             Implement health and safety legislation

             Duties of managers and supervisors

             Spatial architecture

             Construction site information
